Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully and retain a copy for your records. By booking with Best of France Tours, you agree to the policies outlined below.
Booking Conditions
To confirm your reservation, full prepayment is required at the time of booking. This secures your tour and guarantees availability.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express via our website’s secure payment gateway.
To prevent payment issues, please notify your bank or credit card provider in advance, as some transactions may be automatically declined for security reasons.
We respect your privacy. Best of France Tours does not sell, share, or disclose your personal or payment information. Our website and payment system use industry-standard security protocols.
Cancellation Policy & Fees
All cancellations must be submitted by email.
Full refund: Cancellations received at least 7 days before the tour date (Paris/CET time).
No refund: Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour date.
No refunds for clients who leave a tour voluntarily once it has started.
Pre-paid entrance tickets (Versailles, Louvre, Orsay, Eiffel Tower, etc.) are non-refundable, including the mandatory 20% VAT, under any circumstances.
Availability & Last-Minute Bookings
All tours are subject to availability and must be confirmed by our team in advance.
Bookings made less than 48 hours before the requested date without prior contact cannot be guaranteed.
If we are unable to confirm your tour, a full refund will be issued.
Punctuality & No-Show Policy
For tours or transfers with scheduled start times:
Please be ready at your hotel lobby or designated meeting point on time.
Your guide will wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time.
If no contact is made within this time, the booking will be considered a no-show, and the tour will be forfeited without refund.
Changes to Bookings
We will make every effort to accommodate changes; however, they cannot be guaranteed, particularly for last-minute requests involving Versailles or major museums.Tour prices may change without notice due to currency fluctuations.
Unforeseen Events
Best of France Tours is not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Acts of God, strikes, transportation delays or cancellations, civil unrest or disturbances
If a major site (Versailles, Louvre, Orsay, etc.) is closed due to strikes, we will offer an alternative tour of equal value on the same day.
If the alternative is declined, the tour will be non-refundable.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance (trip cancellation, medical, and interruption coverage).
Tours missed due to flight or train disruptions are non-refundable.
Weather Policy
Our tours operate rain or shine. Refunds or changes are not provided due to poor weather forecasts (including rain in Giverny, Versailles, or Normandy).
In the event of dangerous weather conditions (e.g., heavy snow), we reserve the right to cancel for safety reasons and will issue a full refund.
Museum & Site-Specific Tours
For private guided museum tours we must secure official “right to speak” permits and skip-the-line access directly with the museum.
Final confirmation is subject to the museum’s availability.
If your selected date is fully booked, we will offer an alternative date, or provide a full refund.
Tour Duration & Overtime Charges
Tour durations are confirmed at booking.
Example: A 12-hour tour with a 7:00 AM pickup ends at approximately 7:00 PM.
Any additional time caused by the client will be charged at €80 per hour.

All applicable taxes and insurance
Fuel and vehicle maintenance
Highway tolls and parking
Driver’s salary and expenses
Not included:
Personal expenses and meals
Tips/gratuities (at your discretion)
Entrance fees, unless otherwise stated
